Carmichael's is delighted to host authors Maureen Morehead and Sue Terry
Driskell for a reading from and book signing for their new books.
Maureen Morehead, currently serving as the Poet Laureate for Kentucky, is a retired teacher of English for more than 30 years in the Jefferson County Public School System. Late August Blues : The Daylily Poems is her newest collection of poetry beautifully illustrated by Carolyn Whitesel.
Sue Terry Driskell is a poet and visual artist who has published poems in many literary publications including The Louisville Review and The American Voice. Knocking on the Door of Spring is her newest book.
