About the author: A Kentucky native, Craig Beaven earned an MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University and a PhD from the University of Houston. His work has appeared in Pleiades, Prairie Schooner, Third Coast, the Best New Poets anthology, and many others. Natural History is his first book.
