On Sunday, November 18th at 4 PM, Carmichael's is honored to host award-winning poet, playwright and author George Ella Lyon for a book signing and reading. Ms. Lyon is the author of dozens of books including a collection of poetry She Let Herself Go, the teen novel Holding on to Zoe, and the children's picture books Which Side Are You On? and All the Water in the World. She is also the editor of A Kentucky Christmas soon to be released in paperback. In addition to her books, George Ella Lyon is an environmental activist and staunch advocate for the people and mountains of Appalachia. You will not want to miss this very special event.
