Although I am in the business, I had no idea what happened during this lender's reign, and it cleared up some mysteries for me. I highly, highly recommend that everyone read this book, whether or not you invest in trust deeds, because you'll never get an insider's look like this again. And for anyone that thinks that the shenanigans in the finance world are over, think again. Money and power corrupt, unless you have an extremely strong ethical personality streak.
