The wedding happened fast; that everyone could agree on. They also knew why things were moving so quickly, although they knew it probably wasn't polite to say so out loud. Toni Bertolet and Harold Henthorn had accomplished so much in life, but there was one thing neither had yet managed to do: have a child. And so they'd gotten together quickly and hadn't slowed down until this day, September 30, 2000, when friends and family gathered at the First Baptist Church of Jack‐
