Debut novelist Kristen Simmons is coming to Carmichael's!

On Thursday, March 8th at 7 PM, Carmichael's will host debut novelist and former Louisvillian Kristen Simmons who will read from and sign Article 5, a dystopian teen thriller. In a future America, the Bill of Rights has been revoked, and replaced
with the Moral Statutes. There are no more police--instead, there are
soldiers. Seventeen-year-old Ember Miller is old enough to remember that
things weren't always this way. Fans of The Hunger Games will love
this exciting new novel, the first in a trilogy. The event is free and
