Carmichael's School Division
Carmichael's has a special office that deals only with schools and teachers. We offer a generous discount, fabulous customer service, free delivery and help with anything else a school or teacher might need! Unfortunately, Carmichael's is not a bid vendor for JCPS this year. We did apply, but a tie that resulted in a drawing of names and a decision by JCPS Purchasing to limit vendor choices to one (1) prevented our participation. HOWEVER, schools are still welcome to call us if the bid vendor cannot provide the books you need, get them in the time that you require, or if you just want to ask about pricing on specialized books. Carmichael's has accounts with many publishers that other stores in the area do not. We are still available for book fairs and in-store classroom visits. Also, Carmichael's is happy to provide the same services to any private or parochial school in Jefferson County and many other surrounding counties in Kentucky and Indiana.
We believe that teachers need as much support as we can offer. Although we are not a current bid vendor, we are still able to offer Jefferson County teachers an in-store discount on anything they buy for personal OR classroom use. The same goes for any school teachers whose school has an active account with Carmichael's. We only ask that teachers be respectful of this discount and not use it for their friends and families.
