About the Author
Stacey and Wes Battoclette live in Cincinnati, where both graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning, with Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees. Upon graduation, Wes started his own business, WMB Photography, shooting architecture for architects and engineers in and around Cincinnati. Wes also has worked with the U.S. National Park Service in Great Smoky Mountain National Park to document old homes in an historic town within the park that was in danger of being demolished. Stacey’s approach to photography stems from a more organic sensibility. Her interest in the forms and textures found in nature has inspired her greatly, and makes for a good balance with Wes’ preference for architecture and manmade structures. Stacey is also a licensed art teacher, sharing her love and passion for art and photography with students of all ages. Together, Wes and Stacey operate SPROUTsquared Photography, where they focus on shooting more editorial images and creative portraits of families, children, couples, bands, etc. Stacey and Wes’ specific individual interests in photography have allowed them to come together to create a unique and dynamic style that continues to grow with every new job they take.
